Big Dog Pet Food Range Announced

After several years of research to find nutritional solutions for the needs of larger pet dogs, Gain^® has launched an exciting new range of dry pet food for dogs weighing over 20kg. This new range is called Gain^® BigDogs.

It is well documented that many larger breed dogs can suffer from the effects of musculosketal disorders such as hip dysplasia, osteochondritis dessicans (OCD) and hypertrophic osteodystrophy (HOD). Big dogs can also be prone to rheumatism, arthritis and painful stiff joints as they get older, with many experiencing excessive weight gain^®, poor sight, weak bones etc. The Gain^® BigDogs range was formulated to help combat the above problems, many of which stem from uncontrolled growth in early life. The new BigDogs range includes TruCal - Glanbia's unique source of highly available natural milk calcium. It also includes Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, from fish oil and flaxseed, along with Glucosamine and MSM to help maintain joint mobility. L-Carnitine and FOS are among the other ingredients that are scientifically balanced to produce this unique range of diets, which will help larger breed dogs lead a long, healthy and happy life.
