Eddie Moloney takes the Premier Series

Eddie Moloney made sure the SJI/Marriott Hotel Premier Series title was his after a fourth place finish on Chatsworth Dan in Coilog last Sunday (16th August). The 33 year old, Kilkenny based rider won the prestigious series with a comfortable 3 points margin over Marion Hughes in second place. Commenting after the win Eddie gave high praise to the performance of both mounts he campaigned throughout the league;

"Chatsworth Dan has been a great servant to me. He was off with injury in 2008, but has come back really strong this year and has had some great results. My other mount Highlander also contributed to the win and the owners of both horses, John McDonald and Nicola Flynn, have been great"
